[left] A simple, stylish, retro poster for freelance review’s design competition “What Matters to You?” This particular concept was driven by posters from the Bauhaus movement. Special attention was taken to the background and foreground patina. [right] The goal of this design was to use multiple fonts to create an ethereal meta-font using the freelance review slogan “What Matters to You?” Hierarchy has been given to the slogan as well as the logos on the bottom of the poster. It’s a darker poster than my last design with light that reminds me of the Aurora Borealis.

Kuhtaier Alm Blue Kuhtaier Alm Brown

Logo concept and competition entry for a Kuhtaier Alm’s apartment rental, restaurant, and Catering Service. The design reflects different areas within the umbrella company (ie: darker brown = rental information, medium brown = restaurant, etc.).

The menu design draws from the existing Raw Silk logo using burgundy and curry colors for all menu items. Text is displayed in a modern and simple form on a rich background photo of silk, making the text pop just beyond the page. This menu design is a true compliment to modern, stylish atmosphere Raw Silk creates for its customers no matter if it is lunch, dinner or dessert. I hope you enjoy the design.
